Hello, I'm taiko, a KAGAMI staff member.
KAGAMI 2021 has finished on April 24th. We opened this event after 4 years from the last round. Thanks to Yazoo Rang, the owner of the Hakoniwa SIM where this event was held, it lasted for the longest period ever! (More than 2 months...!)
For me, I did not imagine I'd do a horror event again after 2017. Until then, if counting from the Horror Night event (the predecessor of KAGAMI) of 2010, I held such kind of events in summer almost every year. I once felt my motivation went away when the plan was canceled in 2018. One big reason was that I was satisfied with holding horror events for 7 years. Another one was that NAO Adagio, who organized such events, could not log in to SL.
To tell the truth, I have never hosted an event and have no will to do so, because I know I'm really bad at working as an event organizer.
This time, it was masaomi Ragu who said "Hey, let's do KAGAMI!" I really appreciated it, but the problem was who to ask to be our host. We could not do our event without a representator...! Then, nanko Inshan kindly accepted to work as this hardest role, and thus I could hold this KAGAMI event again.
Every time during the event preparation, many things happen. So did they this time. As the previous round, a select few joined a team. Each had a huge work. That's why I admire all the staff members who accomplished this event in such a wonderful way.
NADIS Salamander, the main programmer, who tried his best to mold our reckless ideas.
Kumiho Melody, an assistant programmer, who could not work as much with us due to her health but prepared for this event in many ways.
Kyrieholy, a Japanese-English translator, who energetically translated a significant amount of texts. Katat0nik Pidgeon and Allegory Malaprop, who checked Kyrie's translations.
And of course, masaomi and nanko, who gave me a chance and undertook an organizer role. Especially without them, this event would have not been held. I'd like to thank them from the bottom of my heart.
And, the play testers, Giggle Channel, who recorded horrified voices. designers, who joined our shopping mall, and you, who enjoyed shopping and playing the game, finally, Yazoo, who let us rent the SIM for such a long period.

ごきげんよう。KAGAMIスタッフのたいこです。
KAGAMI2021は4月24日をもって終了いたしました。
4年ぶりに開催のイベントとなりましたが、SIMオーナーであるYazooさんのご厚意で、過去最長の開催期間で行われていました。その期間は2ヶ月以上……！
私自身、2017年を最後にもうホラーイベントを行うことになるとは思っていませんでした。
2017年まで、KAGAMIの前身となったホラーナイトから考えると2010年くらいからかな、ほぼ毎年、夏にこのようなイベントをしてきました。2018年に計画が中止になったことで、自分のなかで継続の糸が切れたような感じがしていました。
なんだかんだで7年ですから、もう充分やったなあという気持ちだったのがひとつ。
2014～2017年まで主催をしてくれていたNAOちゃんがSLに帰ってこなくなったのがもうひとつ。
実は私は一度も主催をしたことがなく、自分で主催をする気は、これまでもこれからも一切ないのですね。自分にはそういう能力がないし、とても苦手な分野でもあるから。
イベントをやりたい、やろう！と声をかけてくれたのは、まさおみさんでした。
大変ありがたいお声がけだったのですが、主催がいない……！主催がいないとイベントできない……！というわけで、この一番たいへんな役回りをなんこさんが引き受けてくれて、今回のイベントが成立することになったのです。
毎回イベントの準備期間というのはいろいろなことがあるもので、今回も色々とありました。
前回に引き続き、今回も少数精鋭な人数で仕事を回していたので、本当にここまで素敵な形になったことは、スタッフ皆がんばった！すごい！と思っています。
結構な無茶振りにシュババババっと答えてくれたスクリプターのナディスさん。
体調の関係で、がっつり一緒にお仕事出来なかったけれど、色々と準備してくれていたスクリプターのくみほちゃん。
膨大な量のテキストをもりもり翻訳してくれたキリエさん。
そのテキストのチェックをしてくれたKatat0nikさんとAllegoryさん。
そして何より、今回のきっかけを作ってくれたまさおみさんと主催を引き受けてくれたなんこさん。2人がいなければ、このイベントは実現しませんでした。本当に感謝感謝です。
その他、テストプレイに協力してくださった方々、、
オリジナル恐怖音源を録音させてくれた、劇団Giggle Channelの皆様、
モールに出店してくれたデザイナーの方々、
そして楽しんでお買い物やゲームをしてくれた皆様、
最後に太っ腹にもかなりの長期間、SIMを提供してくれたYazooさん。
本当にありがとうございました。
