HOW TO PLAY
WHEN YOU WEARING HUD
You will see a white box at the bottom center of your viewer, when you attach the game HUD. Please click it and wait for a while, then you'll see "Now Loading..." screen and it shows the opening screen.
Please select "New Game" when you play this game for the first time, or start it again.
If you'd like to start from where you quit last time, please select "AutoSave" data.
IMPORTANT: You may lose some of your movies, items, survival points if you load your past saved data.
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE HUD
BEFORE PLAYING
KAGAMI 2021 “The Godless Night II” is a horror adventure game where you find a way to survive by escaping evil spirits’ attack. You mainly explore the shrine area and get information by talking with NPCs and searching items.
Here are some important points you should know in advance so that you can enjoy this game less stressfully.
ABOUT EXPLORING TIME LIMIT
You can explore the shrine area for 6 hours a day (from 10 AM to 4 PM).
Exploring time is consumed automatically, but the amount is different by your action.
It excludes your walking time.
When the HUD says “There is not enough time left to blah blah blah.”, it means you can’t do it with your remaining exploring time.
Please take another action, or quit exploring.
Also, the HUD lets the alarm go off when you have no time to take any action, and you are automatically teleported to your room.
This can happen BEFORE it becomes 4 PM.
You can quit exploring anytime by choosing it from the HUD’s tab.
This also means you are automatically teleported to your room and the day finishes.
WHEN YOUR HUD STOPS WORKING
In this case, please turn off the viewer’s media function, and turn it on again. You may reattach the HUD to solve this problem. If you restart this game from where the HUD stopped working, please select the left saved point on the GameStart screen.
WHEN YOU CAN’T MOVE
This may happen when your HUD’s message window is active.
Please make sure you finish conversation/message, and then press the ESC key once or twice so that you can move again.
ABOUT MOVIES
You might not be able to play movies properly because the HUD’s movie object is out of place.
This could happen when your SL viewer is not active on your PC.
Please make sure your viewer is active when you play this game.
TO WATCH MOVIES YOU GOT LATER
You will see a resemble picture below when you attach your game HUD outside the Hakoniwa SIM.
It shows a list of all the movies you can get.
The one with white letters is the movie you got, and that with gray letters is not.
You can switch the movie's language between Japanese and English by clicking the top right buttons.
Also, you can teleport to the event venue by clicking the "Teleport to Hakoniwa" button.
